Applications are invited for appointment to the posts of whole time Chairperson (One) and Members (two) in the “Odisha State Food Commission”, set up by Government of Odisha under the provisions of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA). The Chairperson and Members of the State Food Commission are to perform such duties and functions and exercise such powers as prescribed under the NFSA and Odisha State Food Commission Rules 2016 made there under. The Head Office of the Commission will be at Bhubaneswar

Eligibility:- The Chairpersons and other members shall be appointed from amongest persons-.
Who are or have been members of the All India Services or any other civil services of the Union or State or holding a civil post under the Union or State having knowledge and experience in matters relating to food security, policy making and administration in the field of agriculture, civil supplies, nutrition, health or in any allied field; or
Of eminence in public life with wide knowledge and experience in agriculture, law, human rights, social service, management, nutrition, health, food policy or public administration; or
Who have a proven record of work relating to the improvement of the food and nutrition rights of the poor.
Age Limit : – 65 years above
Salary :-
Chairperson: Basic Pay- Rs. 2,25,000/- (Fixed) with usual DA & other allowances
Member: Basic Pay- Rs. 1,82,200/- (Fixed) with usual DA & other allowances
